A.O Smith Verses Bradford White Water Heater? Which is the best?

Mу Plumber һаѕ suggested 2 different models οf gas water heater tο bе installed іח mу household. Tһе A.O. Smith GPSH50200 οr tһе Bradford White MITW50S6FBN. Both аrе electric ignition, both аrе energy efficient frοm wһаt I саח tеƖƖ. Aחу plumbers out here wіtһ аח opinion οf wһісһ іѕ better οr аrе tһеу basically tһе same? Thanks іח advance.

    check the manufactures plate where were they made ?
    i prefer the A O smith brand
    basically the same

    try checking with consumers report. also compare the size of the tank, cost, and warranties

    A.O. Smith is all my dad uses in his plumbing Affair.
    Also go to your local gas co. and see if the will sell it to you at a reduced rate . I know that power co. do that here.

    The Bradford-White is slightly more efficient (EF=.63 vs .62 on the Smith) but you’ll never see that. They are both excellent brands, so I’d go with whichever is lower cost. If price is the same, let the plumber choose.

    a. o. smith tend to have more problems…i used to do a lot of warranty work for a plumbing company and the margin of water heaters that i replaced were a.0. smith.
